硬質ガラスの特長Property of bolosilicate glass

硬質ガラスは熱膨張係数が非常に小さいガラスで、耐熱性が高く、化学的耐久性も高いなど、優れた特性を持っていて、理化学用器材、照明用機材、産業用機材、化学用部品、電子部品として幅広く使用されています。

当社の主なガラス材料は、珪酸（シリカ：SiO2）を主成分に、少量の硼酸（B2O3）を添加した硼珪酸（ほうけいさん）ガラスで、硬質ガラスの代表的な種類です。
熱膨張係数は３４〜６０（Ｘ10-7／℃）で用途より調整可能です。


As borosilicate glass has many excellent properties such as small thermal expansion coefficient,high heat resistant and high chemical durability,it is widely used for physics,chemical ,lighting and elettron equipment and part.
The main chemical composition of our bolosilicate glass is SiO2 and B2O3 and other elements.
The thermal expansion coefficient of them is from 34 to 60(×10-7/℃）、it is able to adjust to customer's request.

ガラス材料Glass material

硼珪酸ガラス　type�T：０６２(ＳＰ-Ｅ)、０９６(Ｗ-３）
(Borosilicate glass type �T:062（SP-E),096(W-3)

熱膨張係数が非常に小さく、耐熱衝撃性に優れています。
主に外表面が高温になる電球、電子管、容器等に使用されています。特に硝材０６２は紫外域の透過性に優れいているため、スーパーカミオカンデ用光電子増倍管の外球にも使用されています。

As the thermal expansion coefficient is very small, this type is very excellent heat resistant.
It is mainly used for outer part whose surface temperature is very high such as HID, electron tube and vessel.
Especially for 062, as transmittance in UV range is very high ,it is used for outer bulb of photomultiplier installed in Super Kamio Kande.

硼珪酸ガラス　type�U：０５１(ＴＸ-５１Ａ)、０８５(ＫＳ-７０）
(Borosilicate glass type �U:051（T-51A),085(KS-70)

熱膨張係数非常に小さく、耐熱衝撃性に優れています。
特にタングステン（硝材０５１）、コバール（硝材０８５）等の封じ金属と熱膨張係数を合わせてあるので、電子管用ガラスとして使いやすい特長があります。

As the thermal expansion coefficient is very small, this type is very excellent heat resistant.
It's is very suitable to seal with a metal(051glass is suitable to W, 085 is suitable to KOV),as the thermal expansion property of them are very similar to that of these metal shown as previou . That's why ｔype�U
ｇlass is well used to electron tube.
　　　

硼珪酸ガラス　type�V：３００(ＨＭ-３)
(Borosilicate glass type �V:300(HM-3)

軟化点が非常に高く、高温でも変形しにくい特長があります。
これらの特長を生かして、船舶用エンジンの気筒温度測定、特殊放電管のロッドなどに使用されています。

As the softening point is very high,this glass is not easily distorted. That's why this glass is well used to thermometer of silinder of ship engine and rod of special discharging lamp.
